American Airlines announced two new daily flights from Dallas to Costa Rica, one to Juan Santamaría airport and another to Daniel Oduber in Liberia, starting December 18, 2019.
Flights will leave Dallas (DFW) late at night and will return from Costa Rica at dawn.
American Airlines currently operates three daily flights from Juan Santamaría to Miami, a daily flight to DFW, a daily flight to Charlotte (North Carolina), and a weekly flight to Phoenix (Arizona).
From Liberia, the airline operates two daily flights to Miami, five weekly flights to DFW and two weekly flights during high season to Charlotte.
Tickets for the new flights will be available from May 13, 2019.
According to the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) 1,265,067 arrivals from the United States entered the counrtry, 42% of all international arrivals.
